Using the telephone easily and safely while driving

With its integrated Bluetooth hands-free function, however, the new Blau-punkt New Jersey MP68 car radio provides an elegant solution to this prob-lem. Once the cell phone is registered in the operating menu, the car radio and phone will automatically recognize one another as soon as the switched on mobile is inside the vehicle. All the basic telephone functions can be operated and controlled directly on the car radio – to accept or terminate a call, for example, all that’s needed is a quick press of the key with the corresponding receiver symbol on the front panel. This modern car radio also features a convenient alphanumerical keypad for the direct input of telephone numbers and quick access to the cell’s phone book (EasyDial). In addition, all of the calling lists can be used and edited on the fully graphical display of the New Jersey MP68. The telephone calls are made using the car radio’s hands-free function.
The easy-to-install hands-free microphone that comes included provides for excellent voice quality in mobile communications. The calling partner’s voice is reproduced loud and clear over the car radio speakers.
A diverse range of connection options for MP3 players and iPods
In addition to streaming audio files via Bluetooth, the New Jersey MP68 leaves virtually nothing more to be desired with its diverse range of con-nection options for external storage media. Music files on MP3/WMA play-ers can be played easily via the integrated USB interface or Aux input. It is also simple to connect an iPod via the optional C’n’C interface. And thanks to the convenient operating menu, MP3 browsing becomes child’s play – even when a portable hard disk containing an entire music collection is connected, individual songs can be found and selected in a breeze. This new car radio offers maximum entertainment value with state-of-the-art technology.

With its contemporary MP3 decoder technology and full range of individually adjustable sound settings, this innovative car radio meets particularly high demands in terms of reception quality and sound characteristics. The radio picks up three wavebands (FM, MW, LW), boasts best-in-class sound quality, sports an integrated power amplifier with 4 x 50 watts of maximum power and facilitates easy sound individualization via its 3-band equalizer. Connections for external amplifiers and subwoofers can be used to generate additional sound pressure.
The New Jersey MP68 also scores points visually with its stylish high-gloss finish and clear-cut classical design. The keys flushly integrated into the surface of the radio are large, meeting the high demands for user ergonomics in the vehicle. The chrome-plated encoder with the circumferential rocker key and the "magic" blue dot serves as the central operating element. It can be used to control all the radio’s most important functions conveniently and intuitively. Thanks to VarioColour, the driver is able to adapt the display with four gray scales and 4096 colors to perfectly match the vehicle-specific instrument panel lighting.
